The Oscoda Firefighters meet and train every week. Training is the key to smooth safe operations. The Fire Service in this day and age requires the same level of skills for volunteers as are required for full-time departments.
The National Fire Protection Association sets standards that we are required to maintain these standards are continually becoming more stringent it takes serious commitment and time for us to keep up to and surpass these standards. The firefighters are committed to giving the best to the community.
