Communications
With 195 Square miles of coverage area to cover good communications are vital. We still have some shortcomings that are being worked on. Our pagers were 15 years old or better, we now have pagers that are new and have some neat features. We have a repeat function that will give the page again to ensure we have the right address. A vibrate feature so we may be discreet at social functions. The new mobile radios have the capability to communicate with the other agencies that we work with. These funds came from the 2002 FEMA grant and the townships match.
